I bought the Optimus to shoot pesky crows on the farm. In stock form its fun and will penetrate through 1/4 wood most shots. I put the up-grade "repair kit" in about a week later,and was very, very satisfied. Dont even second guess, just put in the upgrade kit..you will be glad you did. I really like it now. One shot crow kills. Very acurate.Very well built rifle. Beutiful finish. I took the Optimus to the range and it will shoot 100 yards.
