Although it came with no instructions I think it was pretty straightforward to install if you research how to disasseble it. I too was unsure if an O ring went on the piston and Eric responded quickly to my inquiry and also gave advice on adjusting the piston. I am very happy it now only takes 5 pumps where as stock I had to pump 10 times. So far so good as I have only had it in 4 days. Excellent customer service Eric**
