This is a modern polyurethane 1-inch/26mm piston seal replacement for older springers that use a plate-retained piston seal.

May be used on pistons where leather seals were originally used if a hole is drilled through piston head to fit the retaining bolt.
Typical Applications: Cometa, Norica, Relum, Gamo, Diana, Daisy.

Note: As this seal is 26mm in diameter, minor sizing (sanding) may be required to fit a 1" compression tube.

Check that no burrs exist in the compression tube prior to installing or ripping of the seal edge may occur.

The retaining bolt requires a 5/16" hole in the piston head, and the nut/spring guide (if your rifle has a forward spring guide/top hat you may need to remove it) will fit inside a spring that has an inner diameter of .49" (12.19mm) or larger. The nut/guide requires a 7/16" socket to be used for proper tightening, the head bolt requires a 3/16" hex drive (key or wrench).
