These Pellet traps are great and let the shooter set-up in the basement or garage in an instant. Just remember to have a good quality and oversized backer....unless of course you intend to remud and repaint the family room.......
Do not use with pointed pellets as the ballastic curtains will not hold up. Use Diablo/Wadcutter style pellets. these traps also work well with BB guns with muzzle velocities less than 600fps.
I have one which is the heart of my 6 meter garage range and after puting 10K (yes 10,000) .177 pellets into it fired from various CO2, Multi-pump and Break Barrel guns it is still serviceable. Though it is on its' second set of curtains, soon to be third.
The four out of five rating is only because you will have to go external to Scopes and Ammo to get replacement curtains and deal with a manufacturer who isn't really interested in selling one or two of their product but rather bundle batches.
It would be real nice if our friends at Scopes and Ammo carried the replacement curtains (hint...HINT)
