No wrestling with can lids, jright there at your belt ust pull open the pouch and voila. Crosman says it will hold 500 pellets. Trust me that is an understated average and dependent upon pellet size. I loaded mine up until just before the velcro closure wouldn't hold, emptied it out and counted 815 .177 Crosman 7.4 gr pointed hunting pellets. Only Con (user not item)- forgetting to close the pouch before bending down to retie boot lace......you guessed it.
